About Me
When I’m not in the office, I am usually outside exploring St. Louis parks. Hiking is where I do some of my best unwinding and thinking. I also teach Pilates which continually reminds me of the strength, adaptability, and wisdom of the body—insights that naturally inform my therapeutic approach. When I’m ready to slow down, I love getting lost in a novel that follows a character through their whole life. Stories like that remind me how many layers each of us carries.
In my work, I bring curiosity and steadiness. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can take a breath, sort through what’s happening, and feel supported as you move forward. I assist clients with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, obsessive‑compulsive disorder (OCD), maternal mental health, pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum challenges, depression, life transitions, codependency, coping skills, and stress.
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and a National Certified Counselor. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have completed two years of specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, a body‑based approach that supports nervous system regulation.
My clinical experience began in a hospital setting, where I worked closely with individuals navigating maternal mental health challenges. I later transitioned into private practice, where I expanded my skills in Narrative Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for high anxiety and OCD, and continued training in Somatic Experiencing. These experiences shape the integrative, trauma‑informed care I offer today.
